The light exterior of the Donovan House Hotel is easy to spot on Thomas Circle. As most of our rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows, the hotel is very athletically fetching. From the exterior, you can catch a glimpse of the rooftop pool and bar - a vibrant and unique venue with unobstructed views of the National Capital.
Soon to be announced, Donovan House will be opening a celebrity-chef, full service restaurant.
The hotel introduces simple but stylish rectilinear lines, strong colors and clean, architectural materials to create a very intimate and new environment.
The room design by Studio Gaia breaks away from the traditional bathroom and bedroom layout by connecting the two rooms with a special cocoon spiral shower. All rooms and suites feature custom 400 thread count SFERRA linen, two-line phones with speaker and conference capabilities and in-room safes. The bathrooms are replete with oversized terry-cloth robes as well as bath apothecary and spa products by Kiehl's. Entertainment options include a flat screen TC, on-demand movie library and I-pod docking stations.
