The hotel is centrally located in the new part of town. It is ideally placed for those wishing to visit the city's museums. The Casa De La Cultura is a five minute walk and the shops, galleries and artesanal shops even closer.

The hotel is an old colonial house, originally a family home and then the residence of the French Cultural Centre. It has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to a hotel by the current owners.
Each of the hotel's 24 bedrooms has a private bathroom and is individually decorated in keeping with the style of the house. The size of the rooms varies depending very much on the location of the room.
Small in size, the ground floor features a wood panelled library, reception, cafe and three large stone carved fireplaces. In the reception area an open galleried stair case leads to the bedrooms.
The Cafe is open daily from 7. 00 am to 7. 00 pm and serves breakfast and a simple daily lunch menu. English cream teas are served in the afternoon. A small private garden with chairs, table and hammocks is also available and guests may eat in the garden.
